Often, when I think about rain, I think about the Holy Spirit. Scripture makes this connection and is borne out in worship songs. An example: We Have Prayed (Let it Rain) https://youtu.be/vgSnnU7XqIE – makes me feel like having a tea party in the garden when we have the next downpour. Strictly, no umbrellas – please!

Yes, absolutely. It struck me as interesting when I looked up scriptures on rain, that it is very much portrayed as God’s blessing upon a land – yet we Brits moan about it all the time. I agree, perhaps we should learn to love and embrace and give thanks for the rain more often than we do!
